National Honor Society recognizes students for demonstrating exemplary character, scholarship, service, and leadership.  NHS members provide tutoring, act as tour guides, and assist with community projects such as assisting at the Senior Citizens Center.  Students who have achieved the criteria for membership participate in an induction ceremony held in the spring.  Members are recognized at graduation by wearing the golden cord.
