HS STUDENTS: After School Helpers are needed for the 08-09 school year from 3:30 to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday. It pays $6.55 per hour. Applications are in the office. They need to be returned by August 29, 2008.

 

FACULTY & STAFF:  “Books Are Fun” will be here on Friday to deliver their first display of the school year. It will be on display in the library. For those of you who are new to our school, they bring books, games, etc. that can be purchased at a reduced price. For every 10 items that are ordered, our school library receives one free item. The order will be faxed on the 4th of September, with delivery on the 5th. Watch for more announcements.  (Judy)

 

STUDENTS, GRADES 6-12:  You are invited to the festivities at the “Roadhouse Youth Center” for a back to school bash. It will be on Friday, Aug. 22nd from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Entertainment will be provided by “The Light Brothers” and there will be free pizza. 

 

A COMMUNITY BLOOD DRIVE will be held here at the school on Wednesday, Aug. 27th from 11:00 to 4:30 in the little gym. High school students  ages 16 and older may give blood, but you will need to have parental consent to do so. Consent forms are in the office. /the sign up sheet for the blood drive is on the office window.  (Mr. McDaniel)

WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL, STUDENTS!!!

 

ATTENTION HUSKIE READERS:  Anyone that completed their Summer Reading Form this summer needs to return it to the library by the end of this week. When you bring it to the library you’ll receive some goodies from the public library and our school library to thank you for your participation!    (Mrs. Morgan and Mrs. Loraine Wey)

 

ATTENTION ALL:  There will not be a salad bar offered during lunch this week. We will start offering it on Monday, Aug. 25th.  (Kitchen Crew)

 

STUCO:  We will have a meeting right after school today to talk about the Huskie Expo. New members at large are welcome to attend!  (Mrs. Fairbanks)

 

DANCE TEAM GALS:  If you owe money, please bring it to practice on Thursday.  (Mrs. Heidemann)
