CONGRATULATION TO KIMBER, JON AND JACODA for earning medals by breaking into finals at Tuesday’s Wichita Independent School forensics invitational. There were 14 schools present.     (Mrs. Zirkel)

 

HS STUDENTS: Avoid The Rush – get your Spring Break-Out items to Mrs. Fairbanks early – Deadline is the end of lunch on Thursday. JUNIORS & SENIORS:  The Flint Hills Technical College in Emporia is having a Community Open House 2010 on Saturday, March 27th from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. All that might be interested in a technical college should definitely attend! GOOD LUCK TO THE JH SCHOLAR’S BOWL TEAM AND MRS. STEWART TODAY AT THEIR MEET HERE AT WHITE CITY!!

 

HS SOFTBALL GIRLS:  We will have a meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, March 9th, at 4 pm in Coach Gonzales' classroom.  If you have questions about your fundraising packets please bring them with you.  The van will leave shortly after school dismissal.  Thanks     (Coach Harmison) 

 

HS STUDENTS:  StuCo is once again sponsoring a break out. Escape school early for Spring Break. Bring in paper products, cleaning supplies and other non-perishable items (a list will be on the bulletin board—NO FOOD). The class with the highest percent of participants will win. Those winning participants will get out 15 minutes early on Thursday. All other participants get out 10 minutes early. All items need to be given to me by the end of lunch on Thursday!  Thanks.  (Mrs. Fairbanks)

 

FACULTY & STAFF:  The display of items from “Books Are Fun” has been moved to the back room of the office. They will be in there the remainder of the week. SOPHOMORES & JUNIORS:  This summer, June 13-18, there will be a Kansas Future Teacher Academy at Emporia State University.
