Friends of Rachel (F.O.R.) is an organization established in memory of Rachel Scott, the first student killed in the Columbine High School tragedy on April 20, 1999. Her father, along with her siblings, and many others travel all over the country and abroad trying to reach students with Rachel’s “Challenge”. Rachel was a very kind and caring person. She treated everyone she met with respect and compassion. Rachel was one that would treat others the way she would want to be treated! Her challenge is to “make a chain reaction by spreading kindness to others." For more information about Rachel and her challenge, click on the Rachel's Challenge link at the bottom of the page.
Many high school and junior high students are members of the White City F.O.R. group! This is SO EXCITING!! The students have pledged that they will “Accept Rachel’s Challenge” and work diligently here at school, at home, and in our community to demonstrate Rachel's traits.
