Mrs. Stilwell shows the third grade how to use the food guide pyramid in the Power Panther Lunchroom.

Mrs. Lawrenz teaches the third grade two tips to have a healthy brain.
1. Always order normal sized French fries rather than super-sized.
2. Always wear a helmet when riding a bike or roller skates.

Armed with her handy-dandy toothbrush, Mrs. DonLevy explains the proper ways to brush and floss teeth. She also used little test tubes to
show how much sugar is in a bottle of soda pop, four starbursts, and one bowl of instant oatmeal.

Mrs. Morgan explained the mysteries of the grumbling sound we hear when we get hungry and shared a nifty dance to
represent food getting digested.

Jamie and Jordan have fun in the small intestines even after learning that there is twenty whole feet of small intestines bunched up inside us.

Exercise is important for healthy lungs, heart and bones.

 

Students also learned how to take care of their muscles and skin by eating right and exercising.
